Crucian writer and director Jordan K. Paul joins guest host Sommer Sibilly-Brown as he prepares for pre-production on his short film, ANIMALS. In discussing the impetus behind this project, he recalls the experience of relocating to the States from a Black-majority population and the discrimination and pressure to code switch that accompanied this move. They discuss what he hopes to achieve with this film and his goal of building a space for greater Afro-Caribbean representation within the Hollywood landscape.
