Part 1: Neville James meets with the National Weather Service to discuss the midweek local weather forecast. Neville reviews the American League's victory in the MLB All-Star Game. It began with history-making phenom rookie Paul Skenes pitching a scoreless first inning. Skenes vs. stars like Aaron Judge is the best matchup in any All-Star event, and it's a dream for MLB. Shohei Ohtani broke the scoreless tie in the third inning with a 400-foot three-run bomb, becoming the Dodgers' first All-Star since Mike Piazza in 1996. The AL responded with three runs in the bottom of the fifth, paced by Juan Soto's two-run double. Jarren Duran hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning, The AL held on for a 5-3 victory. Duran won MVP honors. James chats with Supervisor of Elections Caroline Fawkes, who has released the Early Voting schedule for the 2024 Primary Election. Early voting on St. Thomas and St. Croix will be held from Tuesday, July 16, 2024, to Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. Early voting hours on St. John will be 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., from July 20 to July 23, 2024.
