Part 2 - Neville spoke with Lisa Garcia. EPA Region 2 Regional Administrator from the Environmental Protection Agency discusses the Environmental and Climate Justice Community Change Grants program. Neville is joined by Karl Knight, the recently installed CEO of the Water and Power Authority. Mr. Knight began by thanking WAPA staff for their efforts in maintaining crucial power connections to health-care facilities operational during the hurricane. Mr. Knight applauded the work done in restoring multiple feeders that provide power to sections of St. John and St. Thomas. Power restoration in St. Croix has been slower.

Part 1 - Host Neville James gets the most recent information from the National Weather Service on Hurricane Ernesto. Neville is joined by Shannel Petersen, Director of Corporate Communications at WAPA, for an update on power restoration operations in the US Virgin Islands. Darryl Jaschen, Director of FEMA, joins the conversation and expresses hope that ferry and barge operations will restart on Thursday. Mr. Jaschen reaffirmed that schools will stay closed. Lorna Nichols, Director of Communications of the Waste Management Agency, hops on the line to add that interim arrangements have been made for the disposal of green trash in specially marked bins at the Estate Nazareth and Cancryn garbage sites on St. Thomas, as well as the Anguilla landfill on St. Croix. St. John residents can visit the Suzannenberg Transfer Station for green waste disposal.

The 87th Extraordinary Drawing (EX-87) of the Virgin Islands Lottery has been delayed to Friday, August 16, due to bad weather. The grand prize is $500,000.

Neville is then joined by Almando "Rocky" Liburd and Donald "Ducks" Cole for Monday's Table Talk, where they discuss VP Kamala Harris's lack of engagement with the media, which has become a constant rallying cry on the political right, with Republican critics and Fox News stars accusing the vice president of avoiding scrutiny. The Harris team says it is carefully considering how to best deploy its message and present a new candidate to key voters in battleground states.

Part 1 - Neville James speaks with Ryan Chambers, a meteorologist from the National Weather Service. The National Weather Service has issued a Tropical Storm Watch for the United States Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and numerous adjacent islands as Potential Tropical Cyclone Five moves across the Atlantic. The system, which is now located around midway between the Cabo Verde Islands and the Lesser Antilles, is becoming more organized as it advances rapidly westward. According to the present forecast, this system will make its closest pass near or over the northern USVI early Wednesday morning.
