Part 1 - Ernesto Morales, a National Weather Service meteorologist, joins presenter Neville James for the latest report. Dwayne Henry, Donald "Ducks" Cole, and Almando "Rocky Liburd" then join Neville for Table Talk to discuss the Democratic primary election results, which show Kurt Vialet as the top candidate in the St. Croix District Senate race, followed by Clifford Joseph, Novelle Francis Jr., Kenneth "Kenny" Gittens, Hubert Frederick, Diane Capehart, and Marise James. Former Senator Nereida O'Reilly and Attorney Russell Pate were among the candidates that failed to proceed. Genevieve Whitaker, Michael Springer, Jr., and Justin Smith. Because there are only seven Democrats standing for Senate in St. Thomas, which is the same number of candidates approved as part of the primary election, there was no Democratic primary election in St. Thomas.

The Virgin Islands Department of Planning and Natural Resources announced Monday that it has received a $69 million grant from the Climate Resilience Regional Challenge. "The success of this grant is rooted in the dedication of the conservation community in the Virgin Islands," Director Kristina Edwards stated.

An area of disturbance over the central tropical Atlantic Ocean is predicted to combine with an approaching tropical wave in the next days and reach the listening region. It will most likely be rain and wind from Wednesday night into Thursday. Neville provides a report on the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France, where Team USA Women's Basketball opened their campaign with a tremendous performance, defeating Japan 102-76 and boasting a 56-game winning streak.
