Part 1 - Neville James and Ryan Chambers of the National Weather Service prepare the region for the midweek forecast, as moisture in the area is caused by low pressure in the upper levels, upsetting the local weather with thunderstorms. During a press conference on Tuesday, Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach expressed support for the islands hit by Hurricane Beryl. The administration is asking the 35th Legislature for $200,000 in fiscal relief. James contacts Deputy Commissioner Roseanne Farrington of the Tourism Department to discuss relief efforts. The territory will host the 2024 Electric Vehicle Summit, an informative symposium covering all aspects of an exciting transportation revolution. The EV summit, which is presented in partnership with EVNoire, will take place across both University of the Virgin Islands campuses, kicking off on St. Thomas on July 16 at the Innovation Center, and on St. Croix on July 19 at the Great Hall. The 2024 Electric Vehicle Summit is the best place to learn about key aspects of the Virgin Islands’ strategy to enhance energy resilience and reduce carbon emissions.

Part 1 - Following an update from National Weather Service meteorologist Ryan Chambers, host Neville James provides a Hurricane Beryl report after hitting southeast Texas and Louisiana on Monday, killing at least 8 people and knocking out power to at least 3 million people, which has now been downgraded to a tropical depression. James is then joined by the president of the Virgin Islands Olympic Committee, Angel "Chico" Morales, to discuss the delegation's goals and preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympics, which will take place from July 26th to August 11, 2024.

The World No. 2 was upset by Emma Navarro in straight sets. Once again, Gauff could not advance past the fourth round at Wimbledon. The downside of winning a Grand Slam as a teenager is the high pressure that follows. During her match against Navarro, Gauff became visibly frustrated. The 20-year-old shouted to her coach for instructions, which led to viral videos on social media.

Formally called the VI Higher Education Scholarship Program, or VIHESP, the free tuition program became law in 2019. The program is available to residents pursuing their first degree at UVI who graduate from a private, public or parochial high school in the U.S. Virgin Islands regardless of age, date of graduation or household income.

Part 1 - Neville James talks with meteorologist with Manuel Ramos of the National Weather Service in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Hurricane Beryl became the earliest Category 5 hurricane on record in the Atlantic Ocean. Its winds reached 160 mph as it barreled through the southeastern Caribbean. This strength shattered the previous record by more than 2 weeks. Hurricane Emily achieved Category 5 status on July 17, 2005. Beryl made landfall on Grenada's Carriacau Island as a Category 4 storm, causing widespread damage with 150 mph winds.
