On the Candidate Speaks, Neville speaks with incumbent Emmanuella Perez-Cassius, a member of the U.S. Virgin Islands Board of Education who represents St. Croix. She took office on January 4, 2021. Her current term expires on January 6, 2025. Perez-Cassius is running for re-election to the United States Virgin Islands Board of Education to represent St. Croix on November 5, 2024.

Part 2 - Attorney Dwayne Henry joins Neville James for a Friday Bush Tea discussion. Neville speaks with Beverly Monsanto, the mother of Rashawn Ross, a trumpet player from St Thomas. Ross will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on October 19th at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland.

It's energy action month, and Neville chats with Michael Jaffurs, Deputy Director, and Melissa Carter, Program Specialist, at the Virgin Islands Energy Office.

Thursday, October 17, 2024 - Part 1

Part 1 - Neville James gets the most recent forecast from the National Weather Service, as the tropical threat from Invest 94L diminishes. Neville connects with Shomari Moorhead, president of Our Town Frederiksted. Our Town Frederiksted Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of Rhythms at Sunset. The opening event will be held on Friday, October 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Verne I. Richards Veteran's Memorial Park. The series is open to the public and will continue the third Friday of each month.
