Friday, October 4, 2024 - Part 1

Part 1 - Neville James receives the weekend forecast from the National Weather Service. Neville, along with Raymond Williams, a member of the Board of Elections and Kevermay Dougles, St Thomas Deputy Elections Supervisor, have announced that the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming general election is Sunday, October 6. Early voting for the 2024 general election is set to take place on St. Croix and St. Thomas from Monday, October 14, to Monday, October 28, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. Early voting on St. John is scheduled for Monday, October 21 through Monday, October 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Thursday, October 3, 2024 - Part 2

Part 2 - Neville James receives an update from Dr. Dionne Wells Hedrington, VIDE Commissioner, and Dr. Sharlene Belton-Gonzalez, St. Croix District Superintendent, regarding the Complex school schedule as well as the school bus incident. On the Candidate Speaks, Neville speaks with Samuel Carrion, a member of the USVI Senate who represents St. Croix. Carrion is seeking for re-election to the Senate, representing St. Croix. He is on the ballot for the general election on November 5, 2024.

Part 1 - Host Neville James connects with Averil George Commissioner of Human Services and Justa Encarnacion Commissioner of the Department of Health. According to George, staff shortages continue to have an influence on departmental divisions. Encarnacion congratulated Ms. George on her one-year milestone as head of DHS.
