Part 1 - Neville James receives the midweek forecast from the National Weather Service in San Juan and gets together with the Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency Director, Darryl Jaschen, as they keep an eye on Tropical Storm Helene in the Gulf of Mexico. While there is no immediate direct threat of cyclones to the USVI, Jaschen warned residents and visitors to remain watchful for the remainder of the hurricane season.

Benta served in the U.S. Virgin Islands Senate, representing St. Croix. He took office on January 14, 2019. He departed the office on January 11, 2021.

Friday, September 20, 2024 - Part 2

Part 2 - In the second hour of the Candidates Speak, Neville James speaks with Novelle E. Francis Jr., the current President of the Legislature since 2023. He took office on January 12, 2015. His current term expires on January 13, 2025. Francis is seeking re-election to the Senate of the United States Virgin Islands, representing St. Croix.
